Principal Accountabilities 

  • Must be able to rotate all positions: Grinder Operator, Gravy, Mix injection, Brine, Tumbler and Spice Room
  • Set up machines, weigh, grinding, chopper, mixing, scales and to drive a jack
  • Set up and tear down equipment
  • Cross-trained within department as needed
  • Responsible for completion of paperwork and other miscellaneous duties
  • Also requires lifting, stooping, bending, reaching, pulling, and recording weights from scales
  • Ability to operate the IPFS system
  • Ability to perform multiple tasks
  • Work on the production line as needed
  • Ability to read and comprehend meat inventories and formulas for product
  • Ability to read specs
  • Must be able to rotate within the department and other departments


Required Qualifications 

  • Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Must be able to lift 50lbs
  • Ability to work flexible hours and/or shifts
  • Accuracy, precision, and dependability are a necessity
  • Must be a self-starter and have good communication skills
  • Must be a team player, but also must be able to work well alone
  • Must have good basic math and reading skills


Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous production/farm experience
  • Previous Cargill experience
  • Work history in the past 12 months
