Location: Thirsk (Dalton, North Yorkshire) YO7 3HE - 18-24 Months FTC  (full time contract) - Monday-Friday. The role is a site based role 5 days per week

The Dalton UK site is profitable and looking to increase capacity, the team uses our nutritional expertise and knowledge to provide superior innovative nutritional products and services to the agricultural feed industry. Our offering at our Dalton facility includes pellets, concentrates, premixes and minerals, specialties and supplements.  The site is looking to run a project that will incorporate new-to-Cargill technology to transform the sites’ operations.

The Build Project Manager (Engineering Project Manager) oversees and handles the operational aspects of ongoing projects, serving as liaison between internal Cargill (on-site and at a regional level) and external stakeholders. We seek a professional who will progress the project in an efficient way within an ambitious and realistic timeframe.  

Key Accountabilities

  • Ensure projects are built safely and in compliance with Cargill’s leading practices and the UK’s construction regulations.
  • Participate in identifying and resolving obstacles to completing project on time and to budget.
  • Monitor and report on the status of projects including cost, timing and staffing.
  • Help organize project teams, assign individual responsibilities, develop project schedules, and determine resource requirements.
  • Independently solve moderately complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • CITB Site management safety training scheme or IOSH equivalent
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  •  Confirmed related work experience
  • Previous Project Management experience in  Manufacturing environment  #LI-VB2
