Principal Accountabilities 

  • As the turkey comes down the line, the EE will place the lung gun over the kidney area before the turkey is in front of the EE

  • When the turkey is in front of the EE, the EE will then start to vacuum out the lung and air sac. If the tail is marked by USDA, you need to remove kidneys as well

  • As the turkey comes down the line, the employee will make the first cut on their left side on the lower edge of the breast. Be careful not to cut into breast meat

  • The employee will pull down on crop and skin with non dominant hand. Use of hook is optional

  • The crop and skin is then placed into the drain

Requirred Qualifications

  • Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship

  • Must be 18 years or older

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous production experience

  • Previous Cargill experience

  • Current Work history in the past 12 months
