Pilot Plant and Lab Operator (Tuas Based)

The pilot plant and lab operator is responsible for troubleshooting and preventive maintenance program on all equipment and plant facilities. Responsible for up keeping the day to day preparation of samples
JOB PURPOSE AND IMPACT
The pilot plant and lab operator is responsible for troubleshooting and preventive maintenance program on all equipment and plant facilities. Responsible for up keeping the day to day preparation of samples
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Ensures all laboratory equipment are cleaned after use.
- Ensure correct identification of retained samples and stocks.
- Ensures proper maintenance of all data, documents and records relating to product development.
- Compiles and prepare monthly data and reports.
- Prepare samples for courier dispatch.
- Conducts laboratory analyses.
- Ensure the equipment and apparatuses are well maintained.
- Upkeep cleanliness of work areas, apparatuses and equipment.
- Maintain good inventory records of all equipment, raw materials, lab retained samples and finished goods samples in the pilot plant and sample room.
- Attend training when necessary to develop skills and knowledge.
- Attend meeting when required.
- Comply with Environmental Operational Control Work Instructions
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Secondary education level or equivalent
- Minimum of two years of related work experience
- Forklift License preferred
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Complete pre-employment screening
- Complete Food Safety training sponsored by company.
- You will be required to carry heavy loads (5kg to 10kg) as part of their duties.
- 5 working days, Mon to Fri
- Overtime may be required.
