Job Overview
The Industrial Electromechanical Technician II applies electro-mechanical maintenance skills to maintain, repair, and troubleshoot manufacturing and production equipment. This hands-on role supports safe, reliable plant operations through preventive maintenance, equipment repairs, and problem-solving across mechanical, electrical, and automated systems while working with greater independence.
What You Will Do
- Perform preventive, predictive, and reactive maintenance on mechanical, electrical, and automated plant equipment
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and basic automation issues and determine corrective actions.
- Perform basic PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) or control trouble shooting.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment to complete maintenance and repair work.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
- Document completed work, findings, and corrective actions in maintenance computer systems.
- Work flexible schedules including overtime, weekends, holidays, or rotating shifts with advance notice.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
What You Will Need
- Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Understand and communicate efficiently in English (verbal/written).
- At least 1 year of experience performing electro‑mechanical maintenance in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- At least 1 year of experience troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, or automated equipment independently.
- Ability to work indoors/outdoors environments (heat, cold, dust, and noise) while performing physical tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds, climbing, bending, twisting, and working at heights (4 feet and above), with or without reasonable accommodation.
What Will Put You Ahead
- Experience working with PLCs, motor controls, sensors, drives, or control panels.
- Experience supporting installation or upgrades of automation or production equipment.
- Familiarity with maintenance reliability practices or computerized maintenance systems.
- Ability to coach or assist less experienced technicians during maintenance activities
