Job Purpose and Impact

The Demand Planner will effectively and successfully execute the IBP Demand Review and the link with the Supply Review. Steering the Demand Planning process at all levels of demand plans for a group of products. Managing the high planning complexity, including data inputs, statistical forecasting, incorporation of commercial intelligence and new or discontinued products. In this role, you will handle large sets of data and collaborate cross-functionally to create a robust demand plan, enabling effective financial planning and execution throughout the supply chain.

Key Accountabilities

  • Appropriate application of statistical modeling techniques with a high technical level of SAP IBP savviness. Securing data integrity, historical data cleansing, demand sensing data.
  • Analyze, understand and quantify potential vulnerabilities and opportunities, collecting them as integral part of the Demand Plan.
  • Collaborating with the Sales, Strategic Pricing PLM Teams on forecast trends and improvements. Incorporating insights gained by Sales from the Customer forecasting collaboration.
  • Further improving and enhancing the IBP demand related processes, procedures, systems and forecasting best practice. 
  • Participate in integrated business strategy, working to meet key performance indicators.
  • Independently handle complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating only the most complex issues to appropriate staff.
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of four years of related work experience
  • Other minimum qualifications may apply

Preferred Qualifications

  • Six to eight years of demand planning experience.
  • SAP IBP Demand Planning module robust expertise
  • Proven track record on statistical modeling techniques
  • Knowledgeable in Time Series Econometrics
