Logistics Operation Manager
Job Purpose and Impact
The Fleet Lead Supervisor will lead all fleet management activities for a small, standard fleet of transportation equipment or operators. In this role, you will lead fleet operations, data management, research and analysis, safety and compliance.
Key Accountabilities
- Coordinate the day to day activates of fleet and driver and operators including dispatch, equipment optimization, revenue and personnel issues.
- Lead all aspects of the maintenance of the fleet to comply with company and government regulations.
- Lead regulatory safety and compliance activities, including driver and operator orientation, compliance reports, equipment maintenance and records and safety training.
- Analyze transportation and distribution systems and procedures to ensure efficient and economical delivery.
- Other duties as assigned
- Responsible for personnel decisions related to hiring, performance and disciplinary actions for your direct reports. You will also spend time completing the same tasks as employees on your team.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- Minimum requirement of 1 year relevant work experience. Typically reflects 3 years or more of relevant experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- One year of supervisory experience
