Job Purpose and Impact

The Trade Execution Analyst II will coordinate and plan export processes, customs documentation, shipping and receiving of foreign merchandise to ensure it arrives at the correct time. In this role, you will work with customers to issue proforma invoices, monitor issuance of import permits, manage letters of credit, and issue commercial invoices and other export documentation to complete monetary transactions associated with the exports in a timely manner. You will maintain consistent and timely communication with internal and external customers regarding the status of operations.

Key Accountabilities

  • Maintain relationships with customers, clients, suppliers, and other business partners. 
  • Execute end to end export processes in compliance with defined contractual terms and regulations to minimize risks of the execution. 
  • Prepare, review, approve and maintain files for export documents. 
  • Coordinate with customers and banks to ensure operable letters of credit are in place prior to shipment 
  • Ensure compliance with the home and foreign country government laws and customs regulations. 
  • Monitor operational metrics and risks to ensure compliance with Trade Execution process standards and escalate issues to appropriate staff. 
  • Independently solve moderately complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff. 
  • Other duties as assigned. 

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS 
•    Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience. 
•    Relevant experience in related areas is essential
•    Fluent level of English

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS 
•    Experience analyzing export commodity contracts. 
•    Experience working with export documentation and letters of credit. 
•    Experience managing and planning import and export processes, customs documentation, shipping, and receiving of foreign merchandise in a global matrixed company. 
•    Working knowledge of Incoterms. 
•    Strong organizational, analytical and communication skills.
