This position is in our Ag & Trading enterprise, where we connect producers and users of grains and oilseeds around the globe through origination, trading, processing, and distribution. We also offer a range of farmer services and risk management solutions. 

Job Purpose and Impact

The Seeds Origination Support Spain will support sales process execution with new and existing customers to enable sales teams aligned with our commercial strategy. In this role, you will apply comprehensive and thorough knowledge of sales processes to support customer relationships for medium to large accounts to maximize efficiency and effectiveness for the commercial organization. This is a hybrid profile combining commercial, supply chain, and administrative responsibilities to support our field reps with freight execution, SAP transaction processing, contract administration, and other operational tasks.

Key Accountabilities

  • Partner with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the sales processes are successfully completed accurately.
  • Support the sales manager on routine operational activities and develop strong customer relationships at various levels within the customer's organization.
  • Act as a subject matter authority in the execution of sales processes for medium to large accounts and solve routine problems to ensure we deliver on customer requirements.
  • Enable assigned sales team with key process execution and sales activation including, but not limited to, samples, quality assurance, pricing requests, customer agreements and ad hoc support.
  • Monitor and ensure commercial data is accurate in our systems and administration tools.
  • Create customized reports for customers and track customer requests for defined business or areas as needed.
  • Independently solve moderately complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Proven related work experience, between 2-3 years in working with transport or freight companies.
  • Spanish language native level and a very good knowledge of geography and regionality of Spain.
  • English language at a conversational level.
  • Pro-active and agile by taking quick actions.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Conversational level for Catalan language.
