Job Purpose and Impact

The Maintenance Manager coordinates the repairs and the maintenance activities in the plant, as well as supervising the spare parts warehouse activities. In this role, you will manage the Maintenance team that helps accomplish the area strategies.

Key Accountabilities

  • Resolve maintenance priorities based on established plans and assigns tasks. 
  • Implement and develop maintenance strategies in order to keep the plant reliability at highest level
  • Support and further develop the predictive and preventive maintenance program 
  • Organize and continuously improve Shutdowns for maintenance and repairs plan
  • Ensure all maintenance repair and operations materials are in optimum condition.
  • Lead vendor and contract adherence related to maintenance repair and operations stores activities.
  • Oversee material and obsolescence management as well as maintain condition strategies to provide operational effectiveness.
  • Oversee storeroom processes associated with receiving, inventory and dispatching for both internal and external locations.
  • Lead and develop a team, coach and make decisions related to talent management, hiring, performance, and disciplinary actions.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (Mechanical Engineering / Process Engineer) or equivalent experience
  • Demonstrated related work experience: maintenance or process engineering
  • Good knowledge of both English and German language 
  • Good planning skills, safety and quality ownership, structured way of working

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of safety principles and methodologies
  • Lean six sigma
  • SAP knowledge
  • Two years of supervisory experience
