Job Purpose and Impact

The Sales Manager will promote and sell a portfolio of value-added poultry products and solutions directly to current and new Foodservice customers throughout Europe. In this role, you will help identify and contact prospective Foodservice customers, building relationships to generate future sales and repeat business, contribute to assessing customer needs and suggest appropriate products, services and solutions.

You will collaborate closely with Cargill Protein Europe’s multinational team, and regularly visit our chicken processing factory, Konspol Holding in Słupca, and our office in Warsaw.

We are open for hybrid or remote work. 

Key Accountabilities

  • Identify, develop and close new sales by establishing and building value-based relationships with accounts across multiple geographies. 
  • Establish and build product relationships with territory accounts and distributor field representatives in Foodservice.
  • Monitor and respond to customer concerns and problems.
  • Arrange and provide for shipment and product demonstrations.
  • Handle a variety of moderately complex problems, referring to policies and practices for guidance.
  • Independently solve moderately complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of two years of related work experience in the sales department. 
  • Strong English language capabilities (written, verbal).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Track record of driving sales and new customer growth, with ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  • French language capabilities (written, verbal).
  • Experience working with Foodservice customers.
  • Excellent communications skills, strong ability to collaborate with a multi-national team.
  • Demonstrated fast learning skills.
  • Flexibility and willingness to travel (estimated 30% domestic or European travel required).
