Sales Account Manager

Our portfolio includes poultry, beef, egg, alternative protein, salt, oils, starches, sweeteners, cocoa and chocolate.
Job Purpose and Impact
The Sales Account Manager will develop customer sales strategies and build relationships based on the company's values, for Cargill Protein’s Distribution business across all channels with primary focus on Retail, Foodservice, and Processors within Southern California, Vegas, and Arizona territories. In this role, you will help identify and contact prospective customers and build relationships and contribute to the assessment of customer needs and suggest appropriate products, services and solutions that maximize product revenue and improves profitability. You will work primarily with customers using traditional telephone communication as well as video telephone software, including face to face customer meetings.
Key Accountabilities
- Align with customer partners to sell products, quoting and negotiating product pricing within pricing function guidelines.
- Prospect/Cold Call new prospective customers.
- Develop customer sales strategies to meet customer goals and objectives.
- Process customer orders and manage overall order fill rate and on time delivery service.
- Gather and communicate channel, market, customer or competitive information and intelligence and interact with team on strategy and pricing functions.
- Manage contracts and risk with pricing and trade promotions teams then resolve and coordinate the investigation of claims and disputes.
- Independently solve moderately complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- Minimum of two years of sales, customer service-related work experience
- Proficient in the use of basic business software (Microsoft Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Fluent in Korean (written and verbal)
Preferred Qualifications
- Proven experience selling products in a business to the business sales environment
- Sales and buying experience within the protein industry (Beef, pork, seafood or poultry)
- Experience with SAP, Power BI & Sales Force (or similar platforms)
- Understanding of the protein market trends
Position Information

- This position is located in Rancho Cucamonga, CA
- The expected salary for this position is $70,000-$95,000. . Compensation varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific location, certifications, education, and level of experience. The disclosed range estimate may be adjusted for any applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled.
