Job Purpose and Impact
The ESG Customer Response Manager will support development and implementation of Cargill’s ESG customer response strategy and programs. This role will deliver practical, transparent and timely responses to our customers and help meet our external partners’ ESG expectations and uphold Cargill’s brand and reputation. This role will collaborate across Cargill businesses and functions and partner with external industry groups to develop and continuously improve processes and solutions that effectively deliver on our ESG strategy. #LI-AM4 #LI-Hybrid
Key Accountabilities
- Drive and support efforts to effectively engage with and respond to priority customers on strategic ESG matters.
- Develop, implement, and continuously improve Cargill’s customer response processes including intake, routing across businesses and functions, and communication repositories.
- Ensure timely and consistent responses aligned with customer segmentation for inquiries, surveys, assessments, and questionnaires; and enable efficiency and effectiveness supported by accurate data and enabling technology.
- Monitor industry practices, gain understanding of best-in-class ESG platforms and raters (Ecovadis, Thesis, etc.), incorporate learnings and support Cargill to drive for positive ESG outcomes, uphold its reputation, and enhance its external ESG standing.
- Collaborate across supply chains, internal teams, and external partners to develop and optimize processes, reinforcing alignment and building engagement through clear communication and project management.
- Track and report key metrics aligned to business goals and Global Impact strategy to ensure value and progress is transparent to stakeholders.
- Independently handle complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating complex issues as appropriate.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 4 years of ESG reporting, project management experience with ESG reporting frameworks
- Excellence in critical thinking, written and verbal stakeholder communications
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's or Graduate degree in a related field
- 8+ years of corporate impact, responsibility, or sustainability experience
- Experience with ESG reporting and ratings frameworks and stakeholder management
- Food or agriculture industry experience
