Job Purpose and Impact

The Capital Excellence Specialist II will be responsible for assist with basic technical support and function knowledge the capital excellence area. In this role, you will help to improve build project performance working with project teams and effectively collaborate with manufacturing excellence team and other functions.

Key Accountabilities

• Understand and ensure apply aspects of capital excellence into build projects.
• Process build project performance of specialized capital excellence aspects, identify gaps and practical solutions and implement performance improvements.
• Assist in identifying opportunities and gaps in required levels of specific capital excellence knowledge.
• Assist in providing capital excellence training to project teams and local talent.
• Partner collaboratively with cross functional regional leaders to leverage resources, knowledge and strategies that increase value captured throughout the portfolio of capital projects.
• Independently solve moderately complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
• Knowledge and application of safety principles and methodologies
• Lean six sigma and continuous improvement capabilities
• Minimum of two years of related work experience
• Other minimum qualifications may apply

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience creating complex tests and analysis
• Project management experience
