This position is in our Ag & Trading enterprise, where we connect producers and users of grains and oilseeds around the globe through origination, trading, processing, and distribution. We also offer a range of farmer services and risk management solutions. 

Job Purpose and Impact

We are looking for a proactive and customer-oriented Customer Service Representative to join our Supply Chain team. This role combines customer service, logistics coordination, order management, and commercial support activities. The successful candidate will work closely with customers, commercial teams, warehouses, transportation providers, and internal stakeholders to ensure efficient order execution, inventory management, and customer satisfaction.

Key Accountabilities

•    Receive, process, and manage customer orders across multiple systems and platforms.
•    Coordinate order fulfillment from order entry through delivery.
•    Monitor contract balances, inventory availability, and shipment status.
•    Provide customers with information regarding orders, invoices, deliveries, and documentation.
•    Prepare, validate, and distribute shipping, quality, and export documentation.
•    Coordinate transportation activities with carriers, warehouses, and logistics providers.
•    Monitor logistics performance and proactively resolve delivery issues.
•    Support supply chain planning and inventory management activities.
•    Collaborate with commercial teams on contract execution and customer requirements.
•    Maintain accurate master data, sales orders, contracts, and logistics records.
•    Analyze operational data and prepare reports for management decision-making.
•    Identify process improvement opportunities and support continuous improvement initiatives.
•    Manage customer complaints and escalate complex issues when necessary.
•    Ensure compliance with company policies, trade requirements, and logistics procedures.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

•    Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
•    1-3+ years of experience in customer service, logistics, supply chain, transportation, or commercial operations.
•    Fluency in Italian and professional proficiency in English skills


Preferred Qualifications

•    Strong understanding of order-to-cash processes.
•    Knowledge of transportation, warehousing, and inventory management principles.
•    Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and strong analytical capabilities.
•    Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

•    Experience in commodity trading, agriculture, food, manufacturing, or supply chain environments.
•    Experience working with ERP systems such as SAP.
•    Knowledge of international trade, contracts, and logistics documentation.
•    Additional European language skills are an advantage.

Compensation Data

The expected salary for this position is 30,000€ – 50,000€. Compensation varies depending on a wide array of factors.
