This position is in Cargill’s protein and salt business, where we provide wholesome, high-quality food products to a wide range of customers, from foodservice operators and grocery stores to manufacturers and exporters.


Job time: Full Time
Shift: Rotational work shifts Sunday - Thursday  6:00 am to 2:30 pm / 4:30 pm to 1:00 am 
Compensation: $21/hr

Principal Accountabilities:

  • Performing warehouse operations such as loading/unloading trucks, lifting box, stacking boxes, handling product, palletizing & scanning labels into inventory, etc.
  • Interacting regularly with peers and management
  • Operating forklifts and rideable pallet jacks
  • Understanding and adhering to all food safety policies, safety policies and procedures
  • Maintaining a safe and clean work environment
  • Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

  • Eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Ability to understand and communicate in English (verbal/written)
  • Ability to perform physical job duties which may include bending, lifting up to 80lbs, kneeling, climbing, crawling, and twisting, with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to work indoors in a cold environment throughout the shift to fulfill orders, with the use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
  • Ability to work overtime including holidays, nights, weekends or different shifts with advance notice

Preferred Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous Forklift experience
  • Previous experience in warehouse or production environment
  • Previous experience in cold or refrigerator environment
