Job Purpose and Impact
The Facilities & Utilities Professional will provide oversight and coordination to ensure effective facilities operation. In this role, you will execute multiple, less complex operation and administrative processes related to facilities & utilities operations, maintenance, contractor & vendor management, security procedures and office assets.
Key Accountabilities
- Oversee operations and maintenance of all onsite utilities and facilities assets: i.e. electricity, air, gas, water, fire systems, HVAC, elevators, waste, plant security, wastewater, sewer, storm water and other facilities and utilities maintenance as assigned to ensure efficient operations of the plant.
- Communicate instruction and direction on maintenance work for the team and contractors.
- Assist in analyzing maintenance vendor contracts for services and makes recommendations for approval.
- Administer and execute operating & maintenance procedures and performance metrics that include tracking, analysis and reporting performance in terms of quality, safety, cost and customer satisfaction.
- Maintain the office assets & inventory.
- Ensure the facility is following Cargill and site security procedures.
- Lead and independently solve moderately complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- Minimum of two years of related work experience
- Basic computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft office
- Experience in managing contracts and contractors.
Preferred Qualifications
- SAP user experience
Position Information
- This position is located in Newark, California
- Relocation assistance will not be provided for this position.
Compensation
- The expected salary for this position is $91,000 – 118,000. This position is eligible for a discretionary incentive award. The incentive award amount is dependent upon company performance and your personal performance.
