Compensation: $29.40-$30.40 

Job Overview

The Master Mechanic supports safe and reliable plant operations by maintaining and repairing production equipment and facility assets. In this role, you will perform complex maintenance and troubleshoot mechanical or electrical issues independently. This is a great opportunity to utilize your maintenance skills while contributing to food safety, equipment reliability, and team success.

What You Will Do

  • Perform complex preventative, predictive, and reactive maintenance on production and facility equipment, including but not limited to mechanical,pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and electrical issues to keep equipment running safely and efficiently.
  • Use hand tools, power tools, and basic precision tools to complete maintenance tasks.
  • Modify equipment by reviewing electrical or mechanical schematics, blueprints,or manuals.
  • Document completed work and equipment conditions using a computerized maintenance system and advise on opportunities for continuous improvement offacility operations.
  • Perform job duties in a fast paced, cold, or warm production setting with required PPE while engaging in physical tasks such as standing for long periods of time,climbing, bending, and twisting, with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Work overtime, weekends, and holidays as requested.
  • Support food safety, housekeeping, and safety standards across the facility.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

What You Will Need

  • Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English.
  • Two or more years of industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience or educational equivalent or certification in maintenance, mechanics, or related trade.
  • Willingness to learn and follow safety, food safety, and maintenance procedures.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.

What Will Put You Ahead 

  • Welding, fabrication, or conveyor system experience.
  • Experience using computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
  • Work history in the last 12 months.
