Principal Accountabilities 

  • Knowledge of industrial refrigeration, commercial HVAC equipment and cold storage blast operations
  • Ability to operate and run diagnostics checks on a variety of equipment and systems
  • Working understanding of hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical power transmissions
  • Good understanding of computer management systems and Office products (Excel, Word…)
  • Good understanding of basic troubleshooting processes of mechanical and electrical systems and help recommend corrective designs and make needed repairs
  • Familiar with all levels of machine PM’s and be able to work in a cold environment down to -40 and willing to work at heights up to 36 feet
  • Ability and willingness to participate in the HAZMAT team

Required Qualifications

  • Must be eligible to work in the united states without visa sponsorship
  • Must be 18 years or olderFamiliar with all utility systems and equipment
  • Complete preventative, predictive and reactive industrial electrical work throughout the facility
  • Ability to operate standard maintenance tools such as power tools, electric test instruments, precision maintenance tools and preventative maintenance technology tools
  • Design, install, and troubleshoot wiring system layouts and circuit routing. Interpret and understand electrical/mechanical schematics, blueprints and operation manuals
  • Document completed work and conditions found/left utilizing maintenance computer software
  • Interact regularly with external vendors, peers and management to pursue continuous improvement of facility operations and promote a collaborative team environment
  • Operate mobile equipment such as forklifts, scissor lifts and aerial lifts as needed
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Ability to read/write/speak English
  • Ability to perform basic math
  • Experience with Microsoft Office products
  • Experience in diagnosing, replacing, and repairing: 110/220/480v industrial electronics, electrical circuits and systems Electrical components including electric motors, VDF’s, and PLC / logical controllers

Preferred Qualifications

  • Preferred experience or equivalent training in production scales and packaging printers
  • Preferred experience with NEC and NFPA-70e
  • Preferred experience in SAP
