Job Overview
The Grain and/or Crop Inputs Plant Operator is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the facility, including receiving, handling, and shipping agricultural products such as grain, fertilizer, seed, and crop inputs. On a daily basis, the operator performs basic equipment maintenance, follows safety and quality procedures, maintains a clean work environment, and works closely with team members and customers to ensure efficient, safe operations.

What You Will Do
- Perform day-to-day facility operations such as receiving, loading, and shipping grain, fertilizer, seed, and other crop input products.
- Operate basic equipment and complete routine operator care tasks to support ongoing facility functionality.
- Provide excellent customer service by supporting producer needs and collaborating with team members.
- Follow all safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment across indoor and outdoor areas.
- Assist with additional operational duties as assigned by facility leadership.
- Ability to work overtime, weekends, and holidays.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
What You Will Need
- Must be legally entitled to work in Canada.
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Ability to understand and communicate in English (verbal/written).
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors in cold or warm production settings, including in guarded areas at heights ranging from 4 to 150 feet, while wearing required PPE and performing physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 lbs., climbing, bending, and twisting, with or without reasonable accommodation.
What Will Put You Ahead
- Basic computer skills.
- Ability to operate mobile equipment (forklift, skid steer).
- Hold a valid Canadian full Class 5 driver’s licence in good standing.
