Job Purpose and Impact

The Director of NA Broiler/Turkey Business will lead and develop strategy, teams and processes to achieve revenue targets. In this role, you will provide strategic vision and tactical direction, oversee and direct the responsibilities of employees and represent the organization in promoting and selling the company's products and services.

Key Accountabilities

  • Organize and coordinate business operations in Broiler and Turkey Markets.
  • Evaluate market potential and the status of opportunities in the area.
  • Plan and organize projects and activities for target markets.
  • Identify potential customers and nurture existing customer relationships.
  • Plan, develop and deliver the business strategy for products, services and associated brands.
  • Develop plans and deliver results in a fast-changing business or regulatory environment, while leading and developing a team of experienced professionals, coaching and making decisions related to talent management hiring, performance and disciplinary actions. You will also collaborate with managers and supervisors in your organization to ensure staff selections align with current and future needs.
  • Key account management implementation owner
  • Ensure adherence to sales enablement- sponsor for team adoption of sales enablement tools (LIFT)
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of six years of related work experience
  • Ability to manage diverse team including sales and technical colleagues
  • Keen business acumen including project management experience and ability to understand marketing concepts (market mapping, value prop, customer landscape, competitive landscape)
  • Keen sense of priorities and experience goal setting 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Five years of supervisory experience
  • Higher education preferred: Masters, PhD or DVM
  • Science background with Animal or Agriculture experience
  • Production or Allied Industry experience (10+ years)
  • B2B experience (10+ years)
  • Entrepreneurial Leader with a growth mindset 
  • Servant leader
