This position is in Cargill’s food and bioindustrial business, where manufacturers, retailers, and foodservice companies rely on us to consistently deliver the products and services they need, and use our technical expertise and market knowledge to develop innovative products.
Job Purpose and Impact
The External Manufacturing Coordinator will evaluate routine to difficult and varied manufacturing and distribution operations, including reviewing data to support manufacturing material needs and finished good customer demand. In this role, you will conduct data management, reporting and analysis, shipping, client interaction, business partnership and support project and inventory management.
Key Accountabilities
- Analyze full truckload movements between locations to support most efficient loads.
- Plan, control and implement processes and transactions related to external manufacturing, including movement of materials and finished goods between plants, external manufacturing supplier, warehouses, and customers.
- Perform purchase order and inventory transactions to support external manufacturing and supporting inventory movements.
- Evaluate, select and foster operational relationship with external manufacturing providers.
- Use comprehensive knowledge of the production plan and customer demand to drive prioritization and accountability to external manufacturing production schedule.
- Independently solve moderately complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- Minimum of two years of related work experience
Preferred Qualifications
- SAP experience
