Job Purpose and Impact

Learning and Development Specialist will help to develop, implement and evaluate training and talent development activities. In this role, you will collaborate to create training curriculum and materials, select appropriate delivery methods and monitor training effectiveness for the general workforce and for targeted discipline and technical areas. Under limited supervision, this job delivers training, evaluates third-party training providers, and measures the effectiveness of training delivery to ensure seamless execution and impactful learning outcomes. 

Key Accountabilities

  • Analyze training needs to develop new training programs or modify and improve existing programs (Training need anaylsis).
  • Plan, develop and conduct delivery of trainings by ensuring the purpose and goals of the training session are articulated to participants.
  • Collects training participant feedback, completes post-training evaluations and analyzes data to assess the impact and effectiveness of the programs and the associated delivery methods.
  • Collaborate with the supervisor to prepare the training budget for the department or organization, and manage training documentation effectively.
  • Communicate and coordinate effectively with external training vendors, including managing schedules, aligning objectives, and ensuring the smooth execution of training programs.
  • Develop and organize training manuals, multimedia visual aids and other educational materials.
  • Independently solve moderately complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Preferable have 2 years of relevant work experience. 
  • Knowledge of principles and methods for curriculum and training design, teaching and instruction for individuals and groups, and the measurement of training effects.
  • Demonstrate strong communication and presentation skills, with prior experience in delivering training sessions or facilitating learning programs. A background as a trainer is highly desirable.
  • Creative and detail-oriented individual with proven experience in designing visual materials such as posters, digital content, videos etc to support branding initiatives and training programs that align with organizational goals.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Ms. Excel.
  • Fluent in Bahasa & English. (Verbal & Written Communication)
