Field Assistant II
Job Purpose and Impact
The Field Assistant will help to lead work operation and achieve the business goals of the estate. In this role, you will oversee operations and assist with the communications for the defined businesses to ensure efficient operations.
Key Accountabilities
- Prepare a monthly work plan based on the total area of responsibility, as well as annual program guidelines.
- Assess project issues and recommend resolutions to meet productivity, quality and client-satisfaction goals and objectives.
- Implement work plan according to Company guidelines and increase effectiveness and efficiency (cost oriented).
- Verify personnel reports, before being checked by the Estate Manager
- Make daily activity reports.
- Maintain good relations with the team and other stakeholders.
- Ensure the quality and safety of work equipment
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Senior High School, Diploma or Bachelor's degree in agronomy/plantation/agricultural, related experience or equivalent experience
- Have sufficient knowledge regarding plant maintenance work and plantation production processes
- Have good communication skills throughout the organization, both to superiors, co-workers and employees below
- Could operate Microsoft Office
Preferred Qualifications
- Preferable have 3 years working experience as a mandor or 2 years as Field Assistant in palm oil plantation areas.
- Preferable have experience as harvesting mandor.
- Have the ability to communicate with all levels of stakeholders
- Have the ability to operate in a multi-cultural environmen
- Have analytical and strategic thinking
