Job Purpose and Impact

The FFB Origination Officer will administer local buying program.  Scan of total market (smallholders, plantations, FFB broker)  and prepare map of industry landscape  .  Provide insights into day to day FFB / Pk market dynamics to help develop local area’s buying plan / strategies

Key Accountabilities

• Plan daily activities, including customer visits and quantitative and qualitative objectives to achieve.
• Follow market and competition evolution, passing information to senior staff.
• Handle basic issues and problems under direct supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff
• Coordinate admin origination work (setup, verification)
• Ensure complete vendor Payment documents (Invoice, Tax Invoice, Recap)
• Coordinate point capture and overlay request to GIS. and verify planting year with ASD/ GIS team for new vendors or land additions
• Responsible for the smooth running of payment and general administration
• Communication and coordination with the Mills team, independent farmers, unloading personnel in the mill.
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree in any field (preferably Bachelor of Agricultural or Business Administration)
• Have working experience in commercial function is an advantage
• Has good communication skills, english proficiency is not mandated but preferred
• Computer literate.
• Good working attitude, positive approach.
• Self-starter and proactive personality.
• Flexible and adaptive to changing conditions in the business/markets/industry
• Experience in organization is an advantage
