Job Purpose and Impact

The Maintenance and Reliability Senior Supervisor will supervise and execute the deployment of overall leading maintenance practices aligned to production needs. In this role, you will lead a team that executes routine & corrective activities to maintain and improve capacity utilization and quality standards realized through reliable operations. You will work closely with contracted partners to drive success and accelerate the level of maintenance maturity while controlling costs. You are expected to act as the key driver in designing and implementing a structured maintenance management system aligned with Cargill’s global standards.

Key Accountabilities

  • Build and implement structured maintenance processes and systems to elevate site performance to Cargill standards.
  • Lead and develop a maintenance team, including coaching, performance management, and talent development.
  • Optimize workflows and ensure high-quality execution of maintenance activities by both internal staff and external contractors.
  • Evaluate and restructure contractor partnerships to reduce dependency, improve responsiveness, and ensure high-quality, cost-effective support for both routine and improvement-related maintenance activities.
  • Implement and monitor methodologies to improve operational effectiveness in compliance with regulatory codes and standards.
  • Minimize scheduled and emergency Downtime by ensuring thorough root cause analysis of major failures and continuous improvement of maintenance programs.
  • Oversee and manage maintenance-related operational and capital expenditure (capex) budgets, ensuring alignment with site goals and cost-efficiency targets.
  • Partner with regional and global leadership to adopt and implement leading practices across the maintenance function.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • Experience with audit compliance, root/cause analysis process
  • Fluent in Dutch and English
  • Minimum requirement of 4 years of relevant work experience. Typically reflects 5 years or more of relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience overseeing third party resources to deliver business results
  • Knowledge of related Cargill tools, processes controls and area technology systems
  • Four years of supervisory experience
