Short Description
Location: Hull (HU6 7PH) - The role is a full time Monday-Friday position, mainly based at the Hull manufacturing site. Some flexibility/ hybrid working can be considered but on site presence is required.
Job Purpose and Impact

The Purchasing Coordinator will collaborate as part of our local Supply Chain team to handle, organize and coordinate the review of purchase orders, monitor progress and escalate any issues to the business users or rest of the procurement operations team.
Key Accountabilities
• Create Purchase Orders for the Hull Manufacturing site for different categories of spend
• Approve Purchase Orders including modification/ expediting when necessary
• Support local users with training on the procurement process and tools used
• Monitor aging invoices/ Purchase Orders
• Execution of spot buying for ad hoc purchases and for more complex procurement requests work with the category buyer for support
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
• Secondary level education or equivalent qualifications
• Relevant experience in Procurement/ Purchasing Administration, Account Payable/ Receivable or another relevant position
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Packages and an ERP system – e.g. SAP Ariba
