This position is in our Ag & Trading enterprise, where we connect producers and users of grains and oilseeds around the globe through origination, trading, processing, and distribution. We also offer a range of farmer services and risk management solutions.
Job Purpose and Impact
The Utilities Technician I, will operate the plant's steam and air production tools, as well as the wastewater treatment plant while ensuring compliance with safety, quality and performance standards under frequent guidance. In this role, you will deliver services to our internal and external customers in the safest, most sustainable and efficient way.
Key Accountabilities
- Adhere to established safety protocols and actively supply to continuous safety improvements according to the manager instructions.
- Oversee all regulatory analyses, tests and operations related to the boiler, including specific tests, safety assessments, lockout procedures and first-level maintenance under frequent guidance.
- Perform all regulatory analyses, tests and operations of the wastewater treatment station, including lockout procedures and first-level maintenance while preparing detailed reports and cause analysis trees in the event of malfunctions under frequent guidance.
- Perform all regulatory analyses, tests and operations of the cooling tower system are conducted, including lockout procedures, first-level maintenance and reporting under direct guidance.
- Conduct safety tests and ensure all operations related to the sprinkler system, including lockout procedures and first-level maintenance, while maintaining accurate reports receiving direct guidance and instruction.
- Responsible for the unloading, ordering and tracking of chemical consumption for the boiler, wastewater station and hexane with direction.
