This position is in our Ag & Trading enterprise, where we connect producers and users of grains and oilseeds around the globe through origination, trading, processing, and distribution. We also offer a range of farmer services and risk management solutions.
Job Purpose and Impact
The Marine Fuels, Sourcing will be involved in the end-to-end process of bunker procurement and delivery, working closely and overseeing both internal stakeholders and external suppliers across key global regions.
Key Accountabilities
- Supervise and Coordinate bunker supply for internal and external clients, supporting procurement, nomination, and delivery processes.
- Liaise with vessel operators, port authorities, agents, suppliers, and surveyors to ensure smooth and compliant bunker operations.
- Oversee the purchasing of marine fuels and follow-up on delivery execution for the region, including quality testing and surveyor arrangements.
- Train the team and ensure to maintain and build the highest level of communications across regions, teams, customers and main stakeholders.
- Oversee performance metrics for the region, consumption efficiency, and support the resolution of claims or disputes related to fuel supply.
- Lead and engage in market intelligence gathering and supplier performance tracking to support trading decisions and strategic sourcing.
- Ensure accurate documentation and system input in accordance with internal policies and audit requirements.
- Collaborate across internal teams including technical, operations, procurement, and finance to support integrated bunker planning.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience (Diploma in Maritime Studies preferred)
- Minium of 4 years of related work experience
- Excellent written and verbal communiction skills
Preferred Qualifications
- 6+ years of bunker trading experience - including marine fuel procurement and commercial negotiation.
- Ability to maintain a global regional overview - providing guidance, coaching, and mentorship to team members.
- Thrives in a fast‑paced environment - able to make decisions quickly and confidently.
- Strong multitasking capability - manages multiple deals, stakeholders, and timelines simultaneously.
- Highly adaptable and challenge‑driven - comfortable navigating change and solving complex problems.
