Job Purpose and Impact

The Project Engineer Supervisor will coordinate the overall technical engineering of build projects that are operationally efficient. In this role, you will supervise a team that executes a variety of medium complex activities with a focus on the detailed engineering design over a project lifecycle.

Key Accountabilities

  • Supervise the execution of the area design packages in compliance with regulatory codes, area standards and specific technology needs.
  • Develop the area scope of work to ensure project objectives, selecting, managing and directing the external service providers.
  • Coordinate the development of the area estimates to track progress against estimates.
  • Provide input from area disciplines and subject matter authorities to support the design to ensure it meets the specific needs of the business.
  • Partner with regional and global leadership to identify work process enhancements.
  • Prepare accurate and timely reports for upper management regarding status of project.
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications


Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in an engineering field or equivalent experience
  • Minimum one year of directly related work experience
  • One year of project management experience 


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience partnering with third party resources to deliver business results
  • Knowledge of environmental health and safety standards and international standards and codes related to build projects and construction safety
  • One year of supervisory experience
  • Experience using AutoCAD
  • Experience using SAP system
  • Experience managing project budgets
