Principal Accountabilities

•    Setup similar machines with limited setup requirements
•    Feed materials into machine, operate and monitor short-cycle machine operation with frequent guidance and make adjustments to ensure product specifications are met
•    Use hand and power tools to perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot basic machine issues, escalating broader machine issues
•    Track production and quality records both manually and electronically
•    Operate powered mobile equipment including forklift or pallet jack
•    Unload and prepare product for movement of finished product
•    Understand and adhere to all safety policies and procedures including equipment lockout-tag outs
•    Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

•    Must be able to comprehend (read, write, and speak) English and communicate with others in English
•    Must be able to lift 50lb, climb, stoop, kneel all within a hot/cold and loud dusty environment
•    Must have a basic understanding of computers
•    Must be able to work in loud and dusty environment
•    Must be able for shift coverage and flexibility
•    Hand tool and minor mechanical experience is preferred

Preferred Qualifications

•    Previous production/farm experience
•    Previous Cargill experience
•    Work history in the past 12 months
