This position is in Cargill’s protein and salt business, where we provide wholesome, high-quality food products to a wide range of customers, from foodservice operators and grocery stores to manufacturers and exporters.
Job Purpose and Impact
The Operations Data Coordinator will provide moderately complex, varied to routine administrative and clerical support for operations team. In this role, you will coordinate with operations supervisors / lead hands, for the operations related data entry.
Key Accountabilities
- Apply knowledge of department operations by manually input data into ERP systems during operational scenarios where scanning is not possible.
- Solicit, collect and organize documentation and data, performing moderately complex data entry into one or more systems.
- Process order confirmations, auto confirmation program, and technical completion of process orders.
- Collaborating with the supply chain team to rectify data gaps between iPFS and SAP.
- Handle moderately complex clerical, administrative, technical or customer support issues under general supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma, secondary education level or equivalent
- Minimum requirement of 2 years of relevant work experience. Typically reflects 3 years or more of relevant experience.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office tools.
- Moderate proficiency in Excel.
- Ability to work on a rotational shift.
- Must be legally entitled to work for Cargill in Canada.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with SAP
- Advanced skills in Excel

- This position will have a rotating schedule between 1st and 2nd shift.
