Job Description:
As Billing Summer Student your main task will be related with billing processing.
Principal Accountabilities:
- Data entering for the Billing department using Word, Excel and Microsoft programs
- Provide support to other team members along with shipping and warehouse supervisors
- Required to prepare documentation and collate paperwork for distribution to the drivers
- Knowledge of XLGO, PFS and Pallet exchange an asset
- Must be available to work weekends and to cover off vacations
- Understanding and adhering to all safety rules and regulations
- Maintaining a safe and clean work environment
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Required:
- Must be legally entitled to work for Cargill in Canada
- Cargill requires that employees be a minimum of 18 years old
- Ability to understand and communicate in English(verbal/written)
- Basic use of a computer and typing skills
- Working knowledge of Microsoft office software, with an emphasis on Excel and Word
- Ability to work overtime including weekends, holidays, or different shifts with advance notice
- High School diploma or Equivalent
- Self-starter and ability to learn and adapt to change quickly
Preferred:
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong team player with good problem solving skills
- Attention to detail and self-motivated to get the job done
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
