This position is in Cargill’s protein and salt business, where we provide wholesome, high-quality food products to a wide range of customers, from foodservice operators and grocery stores to manufacturers and exporters.


Job Purpose and Impact

The Billing Coordinator will combine logistics and accounting expertise to coordinate with the shipping department to bill out customer loads. In this role, you will work and interact with suppliers and manufacturers.

Key Accountabilities

  • Responsible for collection of information and weights.
  • Accountable for proper and accurate billing procedures and also error follow up.
  • Collaborate with the team and other departments to provide back up for other positions as necessary.
  • Handle moderately complex clerical, administrative, technical or customer support issues under general supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • High school diploma, secondary education level or equivalent
  • Ability to perform under pressure within a controlled environment, and communicate effectively with internal and external customers
  • Minimum of two years of related work experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office such as Excel
  • Able to work Monday to Friday from 4:00 pm to 12:30 am, some flexibility will be required
  • Must be legally entitled work for Cargill in Canada

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in a warehouse
  • Experience working with SAP
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment

  • Relocation assistance will not be provided for this position.
  • This is an afternoon shift from 4:00 pm to 12:30 am midnight.
  • This is a 14-Month term contract.
