JOB PURPOSE AND IMPACT

The Procurement Operations Analyst will apply in-depth knowledge of local practices and procedures to manage, organize, and coordinate the acquisition of materials, goods, services, and supplies. In this role, you will conduct activities related to purchasing requisitions, purchase order processing, and follow-up with suppliers and internal users. In addition, you will perform activities to support complex user issues as well as quality and improvement of operations and processes.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Support purchasing transactions by ensuring completion of the purchase order process in alignment with sourcing strategies and policies.
  • Analyze purchase orders versus contract/proposal.
  • Assist more senior team members with process improvements.
  • Check records and files for accuracy by performing complex data analysis.
  • Assist end user and ensure material delivery meets plant requirements.
  • Handle complex clerical, administrative, technical or customer support issues under minimal supervision, while escalating only the most complex issues to appropriate staff.
  • Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

MINIMUM 

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of four years of related work experience.
  • Advanced English.
  • Intermediate or advanced Spanish.
  • Intermediate Office package.

PREFERRED 

  • Bachelor's degree in International Relations, Administration, Economics, Law, Public Administration.
  • SAP skills (Ariba, TCA, TC1 or JDE).
  • Knowledge of automation in Master Query, SQL server, PBI or others.
  • Experience working in shared services operations.
