Job Purpose and Impact
The Regional Sales Manager – Feed Mill will, with guidance, sell directly to the consumer or business purchaser or indirectly through various sales channels. In this role, you will conduct face to face and remote sales with new and existing customers, assist in evaluating customer needs and suggest appropriate products, services, and solutions across all species for which the customer produces feed.
Key Accountabilities
- Help identify potential customers and handle existing customer relationships.
- With guidance conduct market research and pricing, sales, and promotional activities.
- Monitor customer and competitor activity and industry trends.
- Protect, grow, and diversify the relationship with targeted customers.
- Support business growth by disseminating favorable information about the organization and its products and services.
- Independently solve moderately complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.
- Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- Minimum of two years of related work experience in the feed industry
- Ability to travel up to 60% of the time
- Valid driver’s license in good standing
- Experience working in agriculture sales or specifically livestock feed sales.
Position Information
- Relocation assistance will not be provided for this position.
- This will be a home office role but needs to reside in Wisconsin. Up to 60% travel is required to cover the area of responsibility.
