Job Purpose and Impact

The Hazard Communication Specialist will ensure compliance with government chemical regulations or standards in the areas of product compliance, hazard communication, customer documentation and other regulatory functions. In this role, you will provide product compliance and hazard communication support to sales, customers, operations and government agencies in regulatory functions. Your role is critical for us to ensure compliance and safety, so that we can deliver our products and serve our customers.

We are offering temporary contract for 15 months and a great experience in a multinational company with exposure to other locations within Europe. We offer hybrid work.

Location: Kiszkowo

Key Accountabilities

  • Prepare regulation notification and author hazard communication documents to ensure compliance with chemical regulations.
  • Independently gather information regarding existing and emerging chemical regulations and analyze the applicability to industrial feed businesses.
  • Review chemical, biochemical and general toxicology raw materials, intermediates and products to assess risks and ensure compliance.
  • Review physical chemical, environmental, animal and human health toxicology in support of global experts, adapted to the European legislation.
  • Partner with other regional experts and regulatory affairs team to coordinate hazard communication requirements.
  • Independently solve moderately complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.
  • System related projects focused on continuous improvement registered in project database. 
  • Explore impact of new / updated regulation and being able to advise the business and regulatory affairs.

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor degree in chemistry or similar.
  • Ability to smoothly communicate in English.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS, but not a must

  • Background conducting read across assessment for health and environmental data endpoints.
  • Experience with regulatory monitoring and scientific data tools.
  • Experience with related technology applications and modules.
  • Chemical regulatory experience for specific applicable geographies.
