Job Type: Full Time
Shift Available: Night - Sunday through Friday from 10:45pm to 7:00am
Compensation: $23.15/hr and $0.50/hr night premium

Job Overview

As a Packer Operator on our production team, you will operate basic packaging equipment to fill, label, stack, and wrap product containers while supporting overall production and warehouse flow. You will follow all food safety, regulatory, and site safety procedures as you handle materials and prepare finished goods for shipment.

What You Will Do

  • Operate packaging equipment (e.g., scales and labelers) to fill, label, stack, and wrap containers.
  • Position materials and parts for production per specifications and schedule.
  • Convey materials within production and warehouse areas by hand or hand truck/electric hand truck.
  • Hand pack product into materials.
  • Maintain a clean, safe work area and follow all safety and food safety rules.
  • Ability to work overtime, weekends, and holidays.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

What You Will Need

  • Must be legally entitled to work in Canada.
  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Understand and communicate efficiently in English (verbal/written).
  • Ability to perform basic math.
  • Ability to work indoors and outdoors, at heights (4 feet and above) and in confined spaces, performing physical tasks including frequently lifting 25lb,  occasionally lifting up to 50lbs, climbing, bending, and twisting, while wearing required PPE in temperatures ranging from 0°F to 110°F with or without a reasonable accommodation.

  • Prior production work experience.
  • Basic experience troubleshooting various mechanical components and systems.
