This position is in our Food Enterprise where we are committed to serving food manufacturers, food service customers, and retailers with a complete range of innovative ingredients and branded products. Our portfolio includes poultry, beef, egg, alternative protein, salt, oils, starches, sweeteners, cocoa and chocolate.

Shift Available: 1st shift Monday to Friday
Compensation: $28.00/hr

Principal Accountabilities:


•    Supporting maintenance activities by managing an organized storeroom and verifying quantity and quality of equipment, tools, and parts

•    Receiving, logging, controlling, and auditing inventory to ensure that equipment, tools, and parts are readily available  
•    Pursuing continuous improvement of storeroom processes  
•    Utilizing a computerized maintenance management system to support maintenance activities  
•    Assembling and distributing job kits as directed 
•    Interacting regularly with peers and management to promote a teamwork focused environment 
•    Comprehending schematics, blueprints, and/or operation manuals 
•    Operating mobile equipment such as forklifts, aerial lifts, scissor lift, etc.  
•    Understanding and adhering to all safety policies and procedures 
•    Maintaining a safe and clean work environment 
•    Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

•    Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship  
•    Must be 18 years or older 
•    Ability to understand and communicate in English (verbal/written)   
•    Ability to perform physical job duties which may include bending, lifting up to 50lbs, kneeling, climbing, crawling, going up and downstairs, and twisting, with or without reasonable accommodation 
•    Ability to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions which may include heat, cold, dust, loud noise, etc., with the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) including a respirator
•    Ability to work overtime including weekends, holidays, or different shifts with advance notice 
•    A minimum of one year of inventory control experience 
•    Basic computer experience, including proficiency in Microsoft Office
•    Driver's License Class C

Preferred Qualifications:


•    Experience operating a forklift and/or similar equipment                                                                                                                     
•    High school diploma/GED or a minimum of two years equivalent work experience 
•    Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS), such as SAP and inventory systems
•    Experience with maintenance job kitting
