Principal Accountabilities

  • SAP and Inventory Management– Verification of ingredients movements systematically as well as written documentation. Collaborate with Operations on the initiation of corrective action and preventative measures when necessary. Ensures adherence to Corporate, Regulatory and facility food safety and quality requirements

  • Stakeholder Development and Supervision – In the absence of the supervisor oversees the hourly material handlers on shift and ensures quality production is being achieved

  • Other projects – Assisting the plant in various projects relating to Safety, Food Safety, Regulatory, Environment, Process Improvement, Engagement, Training, etc

Required Qualifications

  • College degree or equivalent work experience

  • 2-5 years of relevant work experience

  • Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship

  • Must be 18 years or older

  • Basic math skills

  • Ability to read, write, and speak English

  • Experience with Microsoft Office

Preferred Qualifications

  • Degree in Microbiology, Food Science, Biology, or other related field

  • 5+ Years previous food safety, quality, or food manufacturing experience

  • Previous Cargill experience

  • Work history in the past 12 months

  • Bi-lingual (English, Spanish)

  • Experience with Microsoft Office

  • General knowledge of HACCP

  • Demonstrated ability to effectively manage conflict

  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
