Compensation: $32.00 - $36.00/hr

Principal Accountabilities

  • Responsible for the maintenance, repair, upgrade, and appearance of all Ammonia and Freon Refrigeration and environmental equipment in the facility, using hand tools to perform maintenance on machinery

  • Ensuring food safety and quality

  • Cleanliness and housekeeping

  • Maintenance of electrical and control circuits associated with refrigeration equipment

  • Coil and equipment cleaning

  • Maintenance of Evaporative Condenser Units

  • Repair and maintenance of Freon condenser and evaporator coils

  • Repair/Replace fan motors and fan blades

  • Install and repair various valves and other components in ammonia systems

  • Use math to document changes in the system levels, pressures, etc.

  • Use computer to complete data entry

  • Maintaining a safe working environment

Required Qualifications

  • Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship

  • Must be 18 years or older

  • Ability to work in a cold to warm environment

  • Ability to work with a variety of hand tools

  • Ability to read, write, and speak English

  • Ability to perform basic math

  • Must pass a respirator fit test and physical


Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous production/maintenance/refrigeration experience

  • RETA CARO certification

  • Previous Cargill experience

  • Previous food manufactoring experience
