The Wilbur Chocolate brand under Cargill Cocoa & Chocolate North America has been delivering premium, high-quality chocolate and confectionery ingredients to the confectionery, bakery, and dairy industries for over 135 years.  The Wilbur Chocolate Retail operation is an integral unique component within Cargill.

We produce and re-pack chocolate confections and related products into smaller sizes and gift packages that are sold and shipped directly to consumers across North America from our Retail Warehouse Facility in Elizabethtown, Pennsylvania.

Job Location: Elizabethtown, PA
Job Type: Hourly Full Time
Shift: 1st - Monday - Friday (6:00am - 2:30pm)
Compensation: $19.00 - $20.00  (depending on experience)

Principal Accountabilities

-    Operational activities aligned with consumer order processing which includes but is not limited to: Picking Packing Processing & Shipping consumer orders using handheld scanners and/or computers.  
-    Strict inventory control and management.
-    Loading and unloading trucks with forklifts and/or electronic or manual hand jacks as necessary. 
-    Completing all necessary paperwork including but not limited to trailer inspections, BOL’s, transfer orders, pre and post operation inspections.
-    Handling products and cartons, palletizing, etc.
-    Documenting all completed work and recording inventory data; utilizing scanners and/or computers as necessary.
-    Inspecting product and product labels to verify quality and accuracy.
-    Interacting regularly with peers and management to pursue continuous improvement of facility operations and promote teamwork while maintaining a safe and clean work environment.
-    Understanding and adhering to all safety policies and procedures.
-    Maintaining accurate inventory of raw materials & finished goods through scheduled Cycle counts.
-    Cross train to work in our production & packing environment for additional resources when assigned.
-    Adhere to facility GMP’s.
-    Follow department quality and cleaning assignments and checklists per schedule.
-    Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
-    Other duties as assigned.

What You Will Need

-    Eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
-    Cargill requires employees be a minimum of 18 years old to work in a production warehouse facility. 
-    Ability to perform physical job duties which may include bending, lifting up to 55lbs, kneeling, climbing, crawling, and twisting safely, with or without a reasonable accommodation.
-    Ability to work in varied indoor conditions which may include heat, cold, dust, loud noise, etc., with the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
-    Ability to operate machinery and/or industrial equipment with or without reasonable accommodation.
-    Ability to understand and communicate in English (verbal/written).
-    Experience in a warehouse and/or production environment.
-    Ability to work overtime including weekends, holidays, or different shifts with advance notice.

What Will Put You Ahead

-    Previous small package consumer shipping environment experience.
-    Basic math skills.
-    Basic computer skills.
-    Forklift experience operating both sit down and stand-up forklifts as well as electric hand jacks.
-    High School diploma/GED or a minimum of two years equivalent work experience.
