Principal Accountabilities:
- Loading and unloading products from railcars, trucks, totes, and drums with raw materials and finished products
- Drumming products and storing finished products in the warehouse, forklift use is required
- Manage paperwork and necessary SAP data input
- Run quality and analytical testing on in-process and finished products in the Laboratory
- Operate batch processes, filtration, and pumping systems
- Understanding and adhering to all safety rules and regulations
- Maintaining a safe and clean work environment
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Right to work in the U.S. that is not based solely on possession of a student visa or a visa sponsored by a third-party employer
- Cargill requires employees to be a minimum of 18 years old to work in a production facility
- Ability to perform physical job duties which may include bending, lifting up to 50lbs, kneeling, climbing, crawling, and twisting safely, with or without a reasonable accommodation
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to work overtime including weekends, holidays, or different shifts with advance notice
- Must be able to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions which may include heat, cold, dust, loud noise, etc., with the use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Must be able to understand and communicate in English(verbal/written)
- Ability to work in elevated areas (4 feet and above)
Preferred:
- Previous experience operating a forklift
- Basic experience troubleshooting various mechanical components and systems
- Prior experience in production related work
- Experience with loading and unloading bulk liquids from railcars or trucks
- Experience and/or basic operating knowledge of batch processes, filtration, and pumping systems
