Job Purpose and Impact

The Lubrication Technician I, will perform lubrication of equipment and troubleshoot lubrication failures of production or warehouse equipment with frequent guidance. In this role, you will support the overall health and reliability of machinery to keep the plant running safely and effectively by lubricating equipment such as pumps, conveyors, elevators and valves and support root cause analysis of failures.

Job type: Full time
Schedule: 1st shift Monday to Friday 7:00 am - 3:30 pm
Compensation: $28.87/hr

Key Accountabilities

  • Lubricate rotating equipment such as pumps, conveyors, elevators and valves.
  • Complete filtration of lubrication systems.
  • Pull samples for oil analysis.
  • Troubleshoot lubrication related failures and participate in root cause analysis as needed.
  • Maintain all lubrication inventory storage room and prepare all transportation devices for plant use.
  • Build skill set for vibration and predictive technology.
  • Understand and adhere to all safety policies and procedures.
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

•    Must be eligible to work in the US without visa sponsorship 
•    Must be 18 years or older                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                         
•    Ability to perform physical job duties which may include bending, lifting up to 50 lbs, kneeling, climbing, crawling, and twisting, with or without reasonable accommodation
•    Ability to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions which may include heat, cold, dust, loud noise, etc., with the use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
•    Ability to work in elevated areas (4 feet and above)
•    Ability to understand and communicate in English (verbal/written)
•    Ability to work in confined spaces
•    Basic computer skills
•    Ability to work overtime including holidays, nights, weekends, or different shifts with advance notice        
•    Able to read and interpret equipment manuals, blueprints, drawings, and work orders to perform required maintenance and repairs                                                                                                                                                                                           


Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Prior Maintenance experience (2+ years) 
  • Able to read and interpret equipment manuals, blueprints, drawings and work orders to perform required maintenance and repairs
  • Must be able to make sketches/drawings for fabrication
  • Working knowledge to use rulers, calipers, micrometers and other measuring instruments
  • Able to use a stick and MIG welding machines and demonstrate basic welding skills 
  • Have the knowledge and ability to use acetylene torches and plasma cutters
