Job Purpose and Impact
The Warehouse Operator I, will perform various routine or repetitive warehouse tasks and operate warehouse equipment under frequent guidance. In this role you will support efficient and safe operations.

Compensation: $19.00/hr

Key Accountabilities
- Transfer materials and items from production holding areas to appropriate storage or to other designated areas
- Apply identifying information (labeling) to product as required
- Assist supervisor/manager in planning layout of warehouse and other storage areas, considering product turnover, size, weight, and related factors of items stored
- Operate forklift used to transfer items where needed (Example: load, unload trucks, stock shelves, maintain warehouse organization)
- Perform tasks associated with month-end inventory
- Receive products, weigh, and sample in accordance with warehouse SOP
- Understanding and adhering to all safety rules and regulations
- Maintaining a safe and clean work environment
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Right to work in the U.S. that is not based solely on possession of a student visa or a visa sponsored by a third-party employer
- Cargill requires employees be a minimum of 18 years old to work in a production facility
- Ability to perform physical job duties which may include bending, lifting up to 50lbs, kneeling, climbing, crawling, and twisting, with or without reasonable accommodation
- Ability to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions which may include heat, cold, dust, loud noise, etc., with the use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Must be able to operate machinery and/or industrial equipment
- Ability to understand and communicate in English (verbal/written)
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to work overtime including weekends, holidays, or different shifts with advance notice
- Ability to work in elevated areas (4 feet and above)
Preferred Qualifications:
- High school diploma/GED or a minimum of two years equivalent work experience
- Experience operating mobile equipment such as forklifts
- Experience with SAP or a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
- Working knowledge of Microsoft office software, with an emphasis on Excel and Word
- Working knowledge of inventory systems
- Prior experience in production related work
