Job Purpose and Impact

The Marketing Communications Lead for Diamond V (Animal Feed Additives)will lead the execution of marketing communications activity to effectively represent the Diamond V products, services, brands and the organization to customers and prospects. In this role, you will understand business needs, directly contribute to the achievement of business and marketing objectives, translate marketing communications messages into appropriate content and promotional materials and manage the Diamond V brand within the U.S. dairy and beef industries.

Key Accountabilities

  • Execute and lead large scale, multichannel marketing communications and promotional activities such as promotions, advertising, sponsorship, partnerships, social media, direct marketing, and events, ensuring all materials and content are on brand for Diamond V.
  • Implement marketing strategies in collaboration with sales, marketing specialists and technical teams.
  • Collaborate with internal and external partners to lead high impact campaigns from concept development to final product delivery.
  • Apply full knowledge of marketing and communications tools to communicate the Diamond V products, solutions, and brand.
  • Independently handle complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating only the most complex issues to appropriate staff.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Agricultural Business, Dairy Science, Animal Science, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Minimum four years of experience in marketing, communications, or advertising, with a proven track record of customer focus.
  • Industry experience in dairy, feed, animal nutrition, or agriculture.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and lead cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to travel up to 25%.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in campaign planning and execution.
  • Experience in content strategy, planning, and delivery.
  • Minimum six years of marketing and communications experience within the dairy or agriculture industry.

Applicant Information

The expected salary for this position is $90,000 to 120,000. Compensation varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific location, certifications, education, and level of experience. The disclosed range estimate may be adjusted for any applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. This position is eligible for a discretionary incentive award. The incentive award amount is dependent upon company performance and your personal performance.
