This position is in Cargill’s animal nutrition and health business, where we improve animal lives through better nutrition. Our team researches, innovates and creates solutions that deliver healthy results for our customers.
Job Purpose and Impact
The Maintenance and Reliability Senior Supervisor for Cargill Animal Nutrition and Health at the Casa Grande, Arizona facility directs and coordinates the activities of a team engaged in repair, maintenance and installation of machines tools and equipment, maintenance of buildings and grounds and utility systems. We seek a seasoned professional with the interpersonal skills to foster a culture of providing safe, quality, and cost-effective maintenance programs. In this role, you will supervise a team which executes a variety of medium complex activities to maintain capacity utilization and quality standards for reliable operations in the region.
Key Accountabilities
- Implement preventive maintenance programs.
- Coordinate and integrates with other plant functions to ensure support.
- Ensure work is performed following safety guidelines to ensure health and wellbeing of employees.
- Resolve maintenance priorities based on established plans and assigns tasks.
- Oversee maintenance activities to ensure that disruption to production is minimized.
- Capital implementation projects for the location.
- Lead and develop a team, coach and make decisions related to talent management, hiring, performance, and disciplinary actions.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- Minimum of four years of related work experience
- Experience managing tasks across multiple crafts (electrical and mechanical)
- Experience utilizing a CMMS system
Preferred Qualifications
- Three years of supervisory experience
- Previous industrial maintenance experience
- Experience leading and/or collaborating on cause analysis events
- Ability to influence without authority
