Job Purpose and Impact

The Electromechanical Technician I, will perform routine maintenance, troubleshoot basic program issues and assist with program modification on computer-controlled systems with frequent guidance. In this role, you will utilize maintenance and reliability practices to ensure all assets are maintained in safe condition while continuing to ensure the life of the equipment.

Key Accountabilities

  • May modify programming under general guidance.
  • Occasionally participate in the design and installation of new or upgraded equipment and machinery.
  • Complete basic troubleshooting of machinery and automation failures.
  • Provide feedback and suggestions for improving the reliability of plant assets while troubleshooting machinery and automation failures as necessary.
  • Perform periodic inspection and maintenance on packaging equipment, processing equipment, storage systems, plant utilities and other mechanical and electrical systems, under direct guidance.
  • Other duties as assigned
