Job Purpose and Impact

The Plant Maintenance Supervisor will organize and deliver a wide range of activities related to plant maintenance and ensure the continuity of production and the operation of the plant regarding security, efficiency, aesthetics and cleanliness. In this role, you will manage the team on technical best practice and establish standard policies and procedures whilst also mentoring and leading team. You will also need to implement and manage improvement & modern principals by highlighting deficiencies and recommending changes in training, working practices, and processes. 

Key Accountabilities

  • Organize and handle maintenance activities including maintenance planning, implementing preventive & predictive maintenance program.
  • Control the spare part management to ensure the continuity of production. 
  • Keep the necessary documentation related to maintenance for the purposes of internal and external control.
  • Organize the resolution of current failures and repairs in the plant. 
  • Monitor maintenance expenditure and ensure budget spending within target.
  • Ensure proper safety and environmental measures are taken for project and maintenance works. 
  • Active involvement to support the continuous improvement program especially in productivity improvement and cost saving initiatives. 
  • Handle complex clerical, administrative, technical or customer support issues under minimal supervision, while escalating only the most complex issues to appropriate staff.
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Diploma or Bachelor degree in Engineering or equivalent
  • Minimum of three years of related work experience, and supervisory skills in maintenance in manufacturing
  • Other minimum qualifications may apply

Preferred Qualifications

  • Demonstrate proficiency in Computer literacy (Ms Office)
  • Able to work individual and in a team
  • Strong problem identification and resolution skills
  • Good communication skill, both oral and written
  • Good analytical skill and attention to detail
  • Able to develop and implement new processes or recommend changes
