Job Purpose and Impact

The Electrical Engineer will support the improvement of reliability and maintenance of the electrical infrastructure at a multi plant facility. We seek a professional who will develop and apply engineering standards and procedures, providing advice on issues within the engineering field. We seek a professional who will collaborate with senior professionals to contribute to planning, designing and estimating time and cost, overseeing construction and maintenance of our structures, facilities, systems and components.

Key Accountabilities

•    Follow prescribed guidelines or policies to analyze and resolve problems.
•    Electrical Engineers will be primarily focused on the electrical power system equipment as well as implementation and management of Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM), Engineering Principles and Root Cause Analysis (RCA)
•    This position is responsible for executing Electrical Capital projects as well as Electrical solutions in support of capital projects
•    Handle basic issues and problems under direct supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.
•    Other duties as assigned

Position information:

  • Relocation assistance will be provided for this position.
  • This position is based in Blair, NE.  
  • Work schedule: - M-F: 8-5 with flexible times, on call as needed 

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications    

•    Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience
•    Ability to work optimally with individuals from a diverse set of backgrounds and cultures
•    Ability to contribute, both as part of a team and individually
•    Strong communication skills – written and oral

Preferred Qualifications

•    Previous plant, production, co-op or intern experience 
•    Ability to relate technical knowledge to job-related duties
•    Demonstrated ability to solve problems and make decisions independently
•    Demonstrated leadership skills and experience
